Navkljub snegu bili po opravkih. Nekaj navadnih, rutinskih za soboto. Nekaj posebnih. Med drugim delanje potnih listov otrok. Fotografiranje, izpolnitev prijavnice, zaprisega, podpis. Zanimiv postopek. Me je vse to spomnilo, da moram poizvedt katere dokumente rabimo za vpis Olive v Slovensko rojstno knjigo. Stroski, uradi,... Ker je le skoraj konec marca upam, da je to bil sedaj zares zadnji sneg. Mi vsi smo pripravljeni za prezivljanje casa vzunaj. Pred hiso, na terasi, vrtu, parkih, igriscih. Samo notri se nam ne da vec bit.
Despite snow we went out to run errands. Some usual, routine ones for a Saturday. Some special ones. We applied for kids to get passports. Having pictures taken, filling out applications, swearing, signatures. Interesting procedure. This reminded me I need to find out again how to sign up Olive into Slovene directory. More expenses, bureaucracy. Because it is almost the end of March I am hoping this is the last of snow we will see. We are all ready to start spending the time outside. In front of the house, on the deck, in the garden, at the park, playgrounds. We are done being inside all the time.
Edina dobra stran snega je dodatna svetloba v hisi. Zaradi vse beline je vse mnogo bolj svetlo.
The only positive thing about the snow is the extra light in the house. All the white makes it brighter.
